These family lifestyle sessions make my heart sing. I love to see a family, in their element, just doing life, and pretending like I'm not there snapping away. I especially love these sessions when it involves a dear friend whose friendship has been life giving as we've walked side by side on this motherhood journey. Our babes are just 3 days apart in birthdays and I still remember that week leading up to their births. The conversations were filled with frustrations and longing, and the latest advice as to how to jump start labor. And as they always do, our babies arrived, forever changing and growing us. This family loves beautifully and fully. Thank you for allowing me to see your love for one another Ready family!
You see, I'm a bit behind. While everyone has long since packed up the Christmas glitz and warmth, I'm just now getting to my Christmas posting. I love for it to linger, putting off clearing it all away for a couple of weeks. That is until the tree decides to start shedding...This little man was everything an 18 month old should be, all about his pup and cars and NOT about trying to obtain a traditional photo for the annual Christmas card, unless a bribe of cars was involved! I love this family; Meg is the sister-in-law of my childhood best friend. When my little guy was just a couple of weeks old my dear friend (who lives in Atlanta mind you!) decided that Meg and I must meet for mommy friends are a must. I'm so thankful for the introduction and all the words of encouragement Meg has given to me as I started the journey of motherhood. Thank you friend!
I'm hard pressed to think of many better sounds than the shriek and squeals of this baby boy when he sees his daddy walk through the door. The excitement and smiles are just uncontainable.
These thighs...oh so ticklish! And they just beg to be squeezed.
This last one makes this momma's heart just about burst. This is a daily ritual for these boys. Everyday when Sean comes home Asher goes upstairs with him while he washes his face, brushes his teeth and hangs up his suit. Sean talks to Asher and Asher hangs onto his every word. This picture isn't technically great by any means but as my baby continues to grow and will one day be a man just like his daddy, I know that I will cherish this one and the memories that come with it. For me, these are the moments that Lifestyle photography is all about, the everyday and the beauty within it.
